Saab Key Programming
Saab cars built since 1994 utilize an immobilizer that relies on a set of keys. A new transponder is required to allow the addition of a second key, and special programming. This is usually done at the dealer with a specialized Tech2 diagnostic tool.

Transponder key
The transponder is a key with an electronic chip. The chip transmits a signal when the key is placed into the ignition. The car checks to see if the signal matches the one on the key. Jumpstarting the battery
